Courses and Learning to Dive
Cirencester Dolphin Sub-Aqua Club offer a wide range of diver training courses to new divers, skill development courses to experienced divers and cross-over courses to those who have already qualified with another agency but would like to join BSAC and dive with us.
Try Dives
If you have never dived before, the first step to learning is to do a try-dive. This will allow you to experience SCUBA diving in the relative safety of a swimming pool, with a fully qualified instructor and no obligation to continue if you don't wish to. A try dive session usually consists of a short introduction into diving and safety, followed by up to an hour in the water with a one-to-one or one-to-two maximum student to instructor ratio.
A try-dive costs £15.00 and if you decide you would like to continue your training with us, you will be entitled to a discount on the cost of your training.

Cross Over Training
There are many diver training organisations in the world and this is recognised by the BSAC. If you have previously learned to dive with another organisation and are interested in converting your qualification to a BSAC approved one, Cirencester Dolphin Sub-Aqua Club can help. Typical cross over courses consist of a lecture introducing the BSAC and one or more lectures on how to use the BSAC '88 Decompression Tables.

Skill Development Courses
Every year, Cirencester Dolphin Sub-Aqua Club offer a wide range of BSAC skill development courses either in-house or through other BSAC clubs. More details on the courses available can be found on the BSAC members website.
Membership
Cirencester Dolphin Sub-Aqua Club is a club run for the benefit of its members. It is not a profit making company and as such we ask people who wish to learn to dive with us to commit to being a member for at least a year. If you wish to learn purely so you can dive on holiday and are not interested in diving with us after learning, we are probably not the right club for you. There are many commercial diving instructors who will happilly take your money from you and not offer the ongoing support, friendship and sense of community you will gain from becoming a member of the club.
More information can be found on our section on becoming a member.
